Peter Warrian, author of a recently-released extensive 47-page report on the state of the Canadian steel industry, told a sparse Sault Ste. The Steel Remains by Richard Morgan. It contains graphic descriptions of homosexual sex and rape, and some very strong violence as well. Prose is a little on the long-winded-sentences side, but the apparent protagonist - Ringil - is pretty fascinating so far. A lot of fantasy is suitable for kids – this is not. So, because I don't consider myself qualified to write a review of The Steel Remains by Richard Morgan, I'll talk about my impressions of the book instead.
